What Our Approach Can Help Support
Traditional Chinese Medicine Services We Provide
A wide range of therapeutic options—each one tailored to your needs and goals

Acupuncture Treatment
Acupuncture uses carefully placed needles along the body’s meridians to encourage smoother movement of Qi and blood and to support balance between Yin and Yang.
Scope of Application Acute and chronic pain conditions (including neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, headaches, and arthritis), internal medicine concerns (such as insomnia, gastrointestinal disorders, and hypertension), surgical and soft tissue issues (including soft tissue injuries and skin conditions), gynecological concerns (such as irregular menstruation and menopausal syndrome), pediatric conditions (including indigestion and low immunity), men's health (including prostate enlargement, impotence, premature ejaculation, and sexual dysfunction), and aesthetic TCM applications (including acne management, anti-aging, weight management, skin lifting, and edema reduction).
Precautions Do not come in on an empty stomach, and avoid scheduling treatment immediately after a heavy meal. If you are pregnant or have severe heart disease or a bleeding disorder, use extra caution and discuss it with your practitioner. Tell your acupuncturist if you take any anti-platelet or anticoagulant medications. After treatment, stay warm, avoid cold drafts, and wait at least 4 hours before bathing.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
After you get comfortable, your practitioner will place ultra-fine, hair-thin needles at specific points chosen for your needs. Most people describe the sensation as minimal or only mildly noticeable. You’ll then relax for about 20–30 minutes with the needles in place. Many patients report feeling deeply relaxed during this rest period, and some may even doze off.

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine relies on carefully chosen herbal formulas, prescribed through TCM syndrome differentiation, to help bring the organs’ Yin, Yang, Qi, and blood into better balance.
Scope of Application Internal medicine conditions (including stomach complaints, liver disease, and cardiovascular disease), gynecological concerns (such as menstrual disorders, infertility, and menopause), pediatric issues (including colds and indigestion), men's health (including kidney deficiency and impotence), recovery from chronic illness, and anti-aging and wellness support.
Precautions Herbal formulas should be used under the guidance of a qualified TCM practitioner. If you are taking Western medications, let your practitioner know so the herbal prescription can be modified appropriately. Pregnant women and people with special health circumstances should follow their practitioner’s directions carefully.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your care begins with an in-depth intake and TCM evaluation to understand the whole picture. Based on that diagnosis, we create a customized herbal formula and walk you through exactly how to prepare and take it. Over time, we check in and refine the formula as needed so it continues to match your symptoms and progress.

Cupping Therapy Session
Cupping therapy applies negative pressure so the cups adhere to the skin, helping expand small capillaries near the surface to encourage circulation, reduce stagnation, and support the release of wind and cold.
Scope of Application Colds, coughs, asthma, rheumatic joint pain, and muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, and back arising from wind-cold pathogens.
Precautions Do not use cupping over broken or inflamed skin. It is not appropriate for people with bleeding disorders, and pregnant women should avoid cupping over the abdomen and lower back. Extra caution is recommended for elderly patients. After your session, stay protected from cold exposure, avoid intense exercise, and wait before bathing to help prevent wind-cold from entering through open pores.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your practitioner places glass or silicone cups on areas that feel tight or sore and creates gentle suction. Most patients feel a strong pulling or lifting sensation rather than pain. The cups may stay in one spot for 5–15 minutes or be moved slowly along the skin. It’s common to see round marks afterward; these are expected and usually fade within a few days.

Moxibustion Therapy
Moxibustion uses heat from burning moxa leaves to stimulate acupuncture points, warm the meridians, and help nourish vital energy.
Scope of Application Deficiency-cold constitutions, menstrual cramps, chronic gastrointestinal conditions, rheumatic pain, asthma, and general fatigue or cold extremities.
Precautions Preventing burns is essential, and treatment must be performed with care. Moxibustion is not suitable for people with high fever or with constitutions characterized by excess heat. Individuals with diabetic neuropathy should use extreme caution. Pregnant women should not receive moxibustion over the abdomen or sacral area.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
In a moxibustion session, your practitioner holds burning moxa near selected points to deliver steady, soothing warmth. Many people find the heat deeply relaxing—often described as feeling like gentle sunlight on the skin. You may also notice the herb’s earthy scent throughout the treatment, which some patients find calming.

Tui Na Therapeutic Medical Massage
Tui Na uses specialized hands-on techniques along the meridians, muscles, and joints to help regulate Qi and blood, ease tendon tightness, and improve circulation where support is needed.
Scope of Application Neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, muscle strain, sports injuries, indigestion, and pediatric conditions such as cough or constipation.
Precautions Avoid Tui Na over open wounds, active skin infections, or areas affected by bone tumors. Deep pressure on the abdomen is not appropriate during pregnancy. For elderly patients or anyone with osteoporosis, only gentle methods should be used.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Depending on your needs and constitution, Tui Na may be slow and relaxing or more active and invigorating. You’ll stay fully clothed while your practitioner uses hands and fingers—and at times elbows or feet—to apply a range of techniques. Most appointments run about 30 to 60 minutes.

Gua Sha Therapy
Gua Sha is a technique that uses a smooth tool to create gentle friction along the skin. This approach is used to encourage circulation, help open the meridians, and move areas of stagnation toward the surface—supporting the body’s natural ability to clear pathogens.
Scope of Application Gua Sha is often used when addressing colds, fever, sore throat, heatstroke, hypertension, and tension or stiffness in the neck, shoulders, and back.
Precautions Do not perform Gua Sha over broken skin or moles. This therapy is not suitable for people with bleeding disorders, and it should be avoided on the abdomen during pregnancy. After treatment, keep the area warm and covered, and avoid cold exposure or bathing right away.
Highlights & Benefits
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your practitioner will start by applying oil to the area being treated. Using a smooth-edged tool, they’ll work over tight spots with firm strokes in a downward direction. You’ll feel a distinct scraping pressure that may be intense at first, but many people find it manageable as the session continues. It’s also common for red or purple marks to show up during treatment; these usually fade naturally within about 2 to 7 days.

Herbal Plaster (Topical) Therapy
In Herbal Plaster Therapy, a custom-prepared herbal paste or powder is placed directly on specific acupoints or areas of discomfort. The herbs are absorbed through the skin, offering localized support as part of the healing process.
Scope of Application This method is commonly used for rheumatic joint pain, ongoing waist and leg pain, asthma, rhinitis, pediatric cough conditions (including San-Fu-Tie), and various skin concerns.
Precautions Take extra care if you have sensitive skin. Do not apply over broken skin or open wounds. If you experience notable redness, swelling, or itching, remove the plaster and stop use right away.

Our lifestyle counseling looks at the bigger picture of your health, including sleep, movement, stress patterns, and the everyday habits that influence how you feel.
